Success of Mennica Polska in Saint Petersburg
Coin Constellation is an international competition of collectible coins organized in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
The prizes are awarded in six main categories:
the coin of the year, golden coin of the year, silver coin of the year, unique idea, the best artistic values and original technology.
The jury of the competition consists of experts of the major museums worldwide, bank representatives, experts in numismatics and representatives of Russian and foreign mass media.
In this year’s edition, as many as 7 coins produced in Mennica Polska were awarded in four categories.

In the category of “The best artistic values”1st prize was given to the Polish silver coin of PLN 10 "Siberian deportees", 2nd prize was given to the 10 Diners silver coin "Pierre-Auguste Renoir" from the Painters of the World series issued by the Principality of Andorra.
In the category of "Original technology" 1st prize was given to the Polish silver coin of PLN 10 (with glass) "400 years of Polish settlement in North America".
In the category of "Silver coin of the year" 3rd prize was given to the Polish silver Olympic coin of PLN 10 (with the ball) "XXIX Olympic Games – Beijing 2008" and a silver 20-rouble coin "Housewarming" from the "Slav traditions" series issued by the National Bank of Belarus.
In the category of "Golden coin of the year" 2nd prize was given to the golden 5 Dollar coin "Kaliningrad" from the "Amber Route" series issued by Niue Island.
"Special Prize of the Internet Users" was given to a 50-rouble coin "Nicholas the Wonderworker" from the "Orthodox Saints" series issued by the National Bank of Belarus.
