Years 1764 - 1787

  • 1764 - September 7. The elective Seym chooses unanimously Stanisław August Poniatowski for the king, and also burdens him with the responsibility of conducting the monetary reform, and activating the new Mint.
  • 1765 - January 10. Stanisław August appoints the Mint's Committee.
    July 3. The king purchases the possession together with a palace on Bielańska Street, for the new Mint.
  • 1766 - February 10. The minting reform, and new monetary system in Poland. On two hundred anniversary of the reform, the date was accepted as the official date of the Mint's foundation, and the day of February 10 as minting holiday - Day of the Mint worker.
  • 1787 -  March 15. New minting rate.
