Słupsk on one-dollar coin from the Mint of Poland
“Polska The Times” mentioned one-dollar coin struck in the Mint of Poland with an image of the city of Łódź. This is the coin from the Hanseatic Cities series.
On the reverse of the first coin form the series there is an image of the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle as well as of the Witches Tower (Baszta Czarownic). There is also a ribbon with the name Słupsk and the city’s coat of arms. The obverse of all of the coins from the series will bear the symbols of belonging to Hansa. On the obverse, as on all of New Zealand Dollars, there will be an image of Queen Elizabeth II – says Barbara Jaroszek, Domestic Trade Director in the Mint of Poland.
The coin will be struck at the expense of the Mint of Poland. Only a small part of silver one-dollar coins will be sent to New Zealand. The majority will be sold in Poland and other European countries.
