Help UNICEF – Buy ‘Ducats of Charity’
Those with a passion for numismatics as well as all people of charity can now support UNICEF through their hobby.
We have already started the first edition of the charity campaign UNICEF and the Mint of Poland that is to encompass all Poland: ‘Change the World With Change’. The unique silver and gold ‘Ducats of Charity’ are already available for sale, combining collector value with charity in favour of children. The campaign centred around this gift-donation is geared above all towards businesses which, choosing this original present, wish to gain for themselves a reputation of a sensible and socially responsible company. The ‘Ducats of Charity’ can also be purchased by private customers. The gold and silver ‘Ducats of Charity’ can simply be kept by the purchasing firm, or they can form a reward or a present for employees, business partners or customers. Due to their collector value, the silver and gold ‘Ducats of Charity’ are also an excellent method of capital investment. “We hope that the ‘Ducat of Charity’ will become, both in the social life and in the business milieu, a symbol of sensitivity and a will to become engaged in helping children in developing countries”, says Marek Krupiński, Director-General of UNICEF Poland.
The ‘Ducats of Charity’ can be purchased in the Skarbiec Mennicy Polskiej shop as well as in the best numismatic stores. What is more, from 21 November 2009 they will also be available from Empik stores.

Additionally, a series of 100 sets of gold, silver and brass ‘Ducats of Charity’ will be issued, numbered from 1 to 100, specially packed in designer wooden boxes and accompanied by a certificate.
