The Mint of Poland on the World Money Fair 2011
We invite you to see the photo coverage of this year’s 40th edition of World Money Fair, the biggest numismatic fairs in the world.
This year, the Mint of Poland was a Guest of Honor during the Berlin event. This honorable function involves numerous privileges. As a Guest of Honor, we were eligible to the first and the longest (20 minutes) presentation of the Company and its products during the Media Forum. During this conference the Mint directors present their plans.
Besides, the company stand was the largest and most frequently visited. The information about the coins from Poland was presented in the fairs materials and drew considerable foreign media interest. Moreover, the Mint of Poland gave a dinner party in the Berlin senate building in honor of the World Money Fair participants. It was illuminated by the presence of a famous mime – Ireneusz Krosny.
The fair was attended by several dozen of the coin-business companies and it was visited by several thousand of collectors. During the fairs, The National Bank of Poland and the Mint of Poland received an award for the coin of the “70th anniversary of creating the Polish Underground State” series which was recognized by the experts as the most inspiring coin of the world.
