Treasury of the Polish Mint as Patron of the 18th History Book Fair

In a few days all those with a passion for history books and numismatics will be able to meet at the History Book Fair at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, at the stand of the Mint of Poland.

The patron of the event has prepared for them a special offer.
The Treasury of the Polish Mint for many months has been promoting the history of Poland through emissions of numismats dedicated to Polish rulers or objects and places of historical importance. The key element of these activities is creating the virtual king Stanisław August Poniatowski, who can be talked to in real time using the www.skarbiecmennicy.pl website. Until now, tens of thousands of Internet users have talked to the Polish ruler.

- Our patronage over the History Book Fair is for us an honour and a wonderful opportunity to meet history enthusiasts. This is why we have prepared for them a special offer of numismats in attractive prices, explains Artur Sobolewski, President of the Treasury of the Polish Mint.

The enthusiasts of books and numismatics will be able to see and purchase the most beautiful Polish historical numismats. The special offer includes, among others, gold copies of the first Polish coins struck during the reign of Stanisław August Poniatowski in 1766. In addition, the Treasury of the Polish Mint stand will exhibit mint products presenting images of Polish rulers from the Piast dynasty dedicated to the most beautiful Polish castles and palaces, as well as a copy of the only Polish coin with an image of Christ.

It is worth noting that all numismats have been struck by the best minters of the Mint of Poland – the company that had founded the Treasury of the Polish Mint and remains its sole owner. As far as the Mint of Poland itself is concerned, it was created by the last Polish kind in 1766.

We kindly invite everyone to meet the Treasury of the Polish Mint at the fair in the Royal Castle.
The Treasury of the Polish Mint has been in existence since 2008. At present its customers include many hundreds of thousands of Polish enthusiasts of numismatics.
