We invite you to join the program about the Numismatic Cabinet
On Saturday, January 9 at 11:45, we invite you to listen to the program called ”Kwadrans warszawski" (“A Warsaw Quarter”) on the Radio dla Ciebie radio station about the secrets of the Numismatic Cabinet.
In the Cabinet, which is a museum of coins, medals and numismatic pieces produced by the Mint of Poland, you may find real gems of the minting art. The oldest showpieces date back to the year 1766. Taking advantage of the Radio dla Ciebie radio station courtesy, we will tell the listeners how the Mint workers saved numismatic treasures during the Second World War. More information about saved collections of the Mint in the course of the Second World War may be found in the article "Ocalone skarby Mennicy" (“Saved treasures of the Mint”).
You are more than welcome!
