Our Cities
For many years now we have been (successfully) present on the market of modern technologies, carrying out our original project – the Municipal Card System (System Karty Miejskiej™).
We have been designing, building and integrating modern payment systems that include distribution and sale of electronic municipal services based on electronic proximity cards (parking fee systems and electronic tickets for the public transportation services). Our System is now used in Warsaw, Jaworzno, Suwałki, Radomsko and Lublin.
We have our own sales network covering the entire country, which we use to distribute products and electronic services (including refilling pre-paid GSM accounts) through contactless cards terminals. Since 2009, our network has also been using fixed and mobile selling-machines for the sale of traditional paper ticket cards with a magnetic stripe as well as recharging the electronic public transportation proximity cards.
As an experienced participant in the market of electronic payments, we will be happy to offer our advice and help you introduce and finance the implementation of the Municipal Card System in your city.
We will be glad to share with you our knowledge, experience and competences.
Warsaw Municipal Card
The only such card in Poland!
The Warsaw Municipal Card covers both public transportation tickets and parking fees. The Warsaw system is really unique (both with respect to the technologies used and the scope of its application), servicing two independent entities responsible for ensuring proper transportation in the city – the Public Transport Authority of Warsaw and Municipal Roads Administration in Warsaw. The distribution of tickets and parking fees is done through a network of terminals owned by the Mint of Poland and installed in over 700 points of sale (!).
Jaworzno Municipal Card
Ideal functionality!
The Card is convenient both for passengers that use public transport regularly and for those that only use it occasionally. Jaworzno Municipal Card with the „electronic purse” function allows passengers to code period tickets as well as electronic single tickets (the latter can be validated in special validators installed in public transport vehicles). Another interesting feature of the Jaworzno Municipal Card is its electronic and graphic personalization.
Suwałki Municipal Card
Safety of use!
Suwałki Municipal Card is electronically and graphically personalized. The graphic personalization, apart from the use of personal data, also includes a photo, which, to a great extent, increases the card’s safety of use (among the advantages there is the possibility to easily reconstruct the card in case of it being lost or stolen, as well as the prevention of public transportation services being used by passengers that are not entitled to it). The Mint of Poland is also the author of the graphic design of the card.
Radomsko Municipal Card
Improvement in public transportation ticket accessibility! The modernization of the system made it possible to enlarge the sales network, thanks to which the inhabitants of Radomsko no longer have to cover long distances in search of points of sale nor wait in queues. The sales network is now composed of 7 new points (before there was only 1), located in the most crucial parts of the town. The system modernization accomplished by the Mint of Poland has significantly contributed to an increase in the revenues of the Municipal Transport (MPK) in Radomsko.
Municipal Transport Electronic Ticket in Lublin
Municipal Transport Electronic Ticket and Electronic Students Card!
As a considerable part of the inhabitants of Lublin are students, the Municipal Card System (System Karty Miejskiej™) has been given an additional functionality, allowing passengers to code electronic tickets not only using Municipal Transport Electronic Ticket, but also Electronic Students Cards. As part of the system implementation, the Mint of Poland increased the season tickets’ sales network from 11 to 23 and set up a modern and functional website containing information on the Municipal Transport Electronic Ticket (www.karta.mpk.lublin.pl). The graphic design prepared by the Mint of Poland was chosen by inhabitants of Lublin in an Internet competition for the best card design.
