The Mint of Poland issued its second collector set from the “Polish National Symbols” series.
The coins depict the following orders and decorations:
• Cross of the Order of the White Eagle from the times of August II
• Cross of the Order of Saint Stanislaus dating back to the year 1765
• Virtuti Militari
• Commander's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta
• Cross of Independence with Swords
• Cross of Merit
• Great Cross of the Order of the Military Cross
The Mint of Poland has prepared for the collectors and all enthusiasts of the history of Poland another item within the series – a numismat with the image of Alexander Jagiellon.
A square coin from the „History of the Warsaw Mint” series commemorating the 70th anniversary of Władysław Terlecki’s heroic saving of the collections from the Numismatic Cabinet from being transported to Germany in 1940.
