A faithfully reproduced coin, preserving all the details, a silver replica of “The Shilling of Grand Master Konrad von Jungingen”, the obverse features letter M over the shield as a mint sign.

Each replica comes in an elegant wooden case with a numbered certificate of authenticity.

The Teutonic Mint in Malbork fades into the dusk of history and, therefore, details concerning its operation are not well known. However, it is undisputable that during the leadership of Grand Master of the Teutonic Knights Konrad III von Jungingen (1393-1407), shillings signed with letter M were struck in Malbork and were issued between 1404 and 1407. Some researchers claim that the mint in Malbork was operating also in the times of Grand Master Ulrich von Jungingen (1407-1410) but his shillings do not bear any mint marks and it is difficult to attribute any of them to this particular mint. Presumably, not long after the Battle of Grunwald in 1410, the mint was also operating in the Castle of Malbork. It is, however, certain that it was operating in the times of Grand Master Ludwik von Erlichshausen (1450-1467) in the years 1454-1456 and it minted shillings featuring a rose as a mint sign.
