A unique collection of seven exceptional silver numismatic items with images of the great composers of classical music.

The collection opens with a numismatic item presenting the greatest pride of Polish classical music and Polish nation – FREDERIC CHOPIN.
Other composers are: WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART, MAURICE RAVEL, ANTONIO VIVALDI, JOHANN SEBASTIAN BACH, PYOTR TCHAIKOVSKY AND LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN.

Obverse of the numismatic items of the “Great Composers” collection:

The inscription “Great Composers” comes out of a stylised roll of notes. Below: vaulting of the cathedral organ /Bach/; stylisation of a string instrument /violin, viola, cello or double bass/. Below: shape of a piano seen at an angle.
The character of letters corresponds to the theme: it is fluent and virtuoso-like.
The most important element, which is at the same time the base and introduction to the composition, are composer’s and conductor’s hands, with notation in the background. The baton held in the left hand is one of the diagonals of the composition lines.

The product is marked with an MW sign – a trademark of the Warsaw Mint, today’s Mennica Polska S.A., which guarantees its authenticity, original artistic design and highest quality workmanship.
